Terms of use for Takane Kita

Please read through these terms carefully.

Necessary

• Giving credit and attribution to the voicebank name, Takane Kita. You may not call this voicebank or character by other names. (Credit to NAVILOID and claretspiral is not required, but you may only link back to socials or this site if you feel it is necessary)
• Giving credit to the creators of official art and other material
• If you must link the voicebanks to others, please link back to the index page.

Permitted only with proper permission

• Any of these contents within songs or other material:
  • Political content - songs that can be applied broadly outside of politics are permitted, but usage for political campaigns or strong political beliefs is prohibited.
  • Religious content - traditional carols, hymns, scriptures, and chants are permitted, but usage with the intent of conversion or proselytization is prohibited. Criticizing real-life religions using Takane Kita is also prohibited.
  • If you are unsure about either, contact NAVILOID.
• Porting the voicebank to other concatenative vocal synthesizers and releasing it (e.g. DeepVocal, Vocalsharp, NIAONiao, etc.)
• Adjusting the voicebank's oto and/or FRQs and releasing it
• Creation of derivatives or characters associated with or inspired by Takane Kita. These do not have to be for UTAU or customizable and/or free vocal synthesizers as a whole.
• Any type of commercial use by individuals or groups, as long as Takane Kita is credited within the title of the song or video (for music streaming services: including Takane Kita's name in the title is sufficient; no need for metadata). Please contact NAVILOID personally for permission as well as the paid commercial licensing; this will only be given on an individual basis.
• Character pairing, coupling, or shipping only with other vocal synthesizer characters as long as the character is between 20-30 years old (Informal note, but I am more comfortable with this if we know each other on a personal basis.)

Permitted

• Any of these contents within songs or other material (as long as it doesn't break what is strictly prohibited):
  • Sexual content
  • Violent content
  • Please be responsible about sexual and/or violent content, and spoiler or filter properly if sexual material of Kita's character is posted.
• Using different characters that are not other vocal synthesizer mascots in material using Takane Kita as long as you are not claiming that the character is her voicebank (e.g. your own original characters, characters from a game or show as long as it is permitted to use their image)
• Reusing the art found in the voicebank folder for covers
• Making fan content - art, writing, videos, covers, cosplay; credit Takane Kita as the character. Tagging or pinging NAVILOID in fan content is encouraged.
• Making original songs
• Depicting Kita with different genders, ages, weights, outfits, general appearances, etc. However, please note whitewashing is not tolerated (drawing Kita's skin as darker is permitted though), and changing the character age down or weight specifically for fetish or pornographic material is also prohibited.

Strictly prohibited

• Any of these contents within songs or other material:
• Criminal or illegal content
• Explicit underage sexual content
• Content made with the intent of sexualizing or glorifying incest, pedophilia, abuse, and any topic in this vein.
• Fetish content
• Bigotry and hateful content, including content used to harass NAVILOID, other individuals, or any group of people
• Violations of UTAU's usage policy
• Porting the voicebank to other AI vocal synthesizers and vocal converters and releasing it (e.g. Diffsinger)
• AI art, music, or text generating usage, AI voice model or dataset creation (e.g. RVC, Diff-SVC), cryptocurrency, NFTs, or anything related to these
• Using different characters that are other vocal synthesizer mascots in material to represent Takane Kita and/or claiming her voicebank is that character (e.g. if you use Hatsune Miku to represent Takane Kita)
• Attribution of Takane Kita to another source that is not NAVILOID or claretspiral or to claim the project as your own work
• Using the voicebank to infringe on existing copyrighted material
• Misrepresentation as a commercial and/or official product or part of an endorsement
• Redistribution of the voicebank at any point, especially during discontinuation
• Editing or cleaning up the audio files
• Usage with jinriki voicebanks and RVC-related voicebanks including/especially RVC-generated or assisted UTAU voicebanks

• Voicebank, official artwork: NAVILOID
